Door-to-door daily waste collection/pickup:
Depending on the neighbourhood, a peddle rickshaw or bicycle is used to collect the garbage from the houses. We recommend 3-day/week service at reduced rate. However, most families subscribe to daily service.

Recycling:
Sorting - over 25% of the garbage is recycled by selling to recycling merchants. Materials recycled are: plastic, paper, glass, and metal etc. The amount realized from the sale of the recyclable waste goes directly to the sanitary worker, thus ensuring an element of self-interest in the work.

Dumping:
Less than 75% of the waset is disposed off, in Municipal green bins provided by the Nagar Nigam (Municipal Corp.).
